Stories flow naturally from Sharlene Allsopp’s mind. A discovery or memory triggers writing that paints visions of landscapes, childhood, conflict and culture. It’s that capacity to tap in to stories through creative non-fiction that won her support through the 2021 Wheeler Centre Next Chapter Awards. Sharlene spoke about it with Sarah Martin.
