Tearfully Sexy, Filthily Feminine

Posted on: Sun 7 Mar 2021

Teardrops on my Dildo doesn’t restraint itself in its unequivocal observations of sexual explicitness, liberation and titillation of female sassiness and effervescence in the otherwise male dominated stand-up comedy industry.

Vanessa ‘Larry’ Mitchell is a much sought after stand-up comedian from the Northern Rivers town of Lismore in NSW, who isn’t afraid to be brutally honest in discharging her carefree thoughts on parenting, dating and anything relatable to feminism, blended with lewd, salacious humour at this year’s Adelaide Fringe Festival at The Griffins Hotel. If you can’t mention those jokes in public, you can guarantee that she will still utter them without caring about the consequences.

Mitchell also reiterated to De-Stigmatised‘s Jarad McLoughlin her opinions surrounding the unequal barriers and overtly misogynistic social constructs that female comedians are forced to wrangle with.
