Screens Review – Truffle Hunters

Posted on: Tue 16 Feb 2021

Truffle Hunters is a strange and charming ode to rare dogs, making this 2020 documentary a rather beautiful film.

The world of truffle hunting doubles as a sweet study of the friendship between dog and human.

Truffle Hunters is directed and produced by Michael Dweck and Gregory Kershaw follows a group of ageing men hunting in the woods for the prized, sought-after Alba Truffle.

Breakfast’s Zoe Kounadis and Tom Mann join screens reviewer Aimee Knight in the studio to discuss the film that has everyone talking.
