Michel Shafar: Laughs locked down.

Posted on: Wed 27 Jan 2021

Michael Shafar is a funny guy who has performed sold out seasons across the country, sharing his deeply personal stories, and the laughter that can come from dark times.

Having spent the last twelve months in lock down, Michael has been deprived of audiences as his shows have come to a halt.

Despite the struggles Michael has faced, including being diagnosed with testicular cancer, he has managed to find a positive spin on the situation.

As quoted in the song ‘100 Bad Days’ by AJR: “hundred bad days makes a hundred good stories, hundred good stories makes me really fun at parties”,

Michael has done exactly that, and he can assure you he has plenty to talk about, which you can listen to live at the Rhino Room this Saturday for one night only. His show is named 110%, so head down to Pirie Street for some laughs/
