Platypus Threatened

Last summer’s bushfires caused problems for many Australian animals and birds, and many were killed and their habitat destroyed. But fires are not the only problems facing some of Australia’s iconic species, and now conservationists are worried about the future of one in particular, the platypus. Barry Mitchell spoke to Nature Policy Adviser at the Australian Conservation Foundation, James Trezise.
