Recent data shows that while Australians are more familiar with men’s sports teams, women’s teams vastly surpass them when it when it comes to an emotional connection, with values like trust and respect
One of the nations most beloved is Australia’s women’s netball team, the Diamonds.
However, the Diamonds have had to overcome some administrative obstacles this year.
Sports correspondent, Dr Michelle O’Shea from Western Sydney University joins Breakfast‘s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to dig a bit deeper.
