French Protests, Channel Migrant Deal

On Saturday, France saw massive attendance at protests against Article 24 of a controversial security bill.

In the wake of continuing police brutality investigations and the BLM movement, the bill could prevent the exposure of unlawful violence by French police.

The UK and France have signed a new agreement to prevent illegal migrant crossing the Channel in small boats. Police patrols are to be implemented to prevent people-smuggling on the route.
