Permanent Cashless Debit Card

Australians currently trialling cashless debit cards learnt that their temporary use of the cards may be extended on an indefinite basis.

However, several human rights organisations and activists have called out the card and how it negatively impacts First Nations people.

Elise Klein, a Senior Lecturer from Australian National University chats with Breakfast‘s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis about the card and why it’s more trouble than it’s worth.
