Ovarian cancer 3D model

An international team of scientists has created a 3D model that recreates how tumour cells grow in ovarian cancer and respond to anti-cancer drugs.
The model mimics key features of human tissue thus enabling testing cancer treatments outside the human body.
Professor Daniela Loessner from Monash University joins Breakfast to talk us through the model and how it will improve the range of cancer treatment options.
