In 1918, World War I ended with Germany signing an armistice agreement. On 11:11AM this day each year, we commemorate the people whose lives and livelihoods were lost.

In 1965, The Velvet Underground performed their debut paid performance at a high-school dance. Being paid $75, this saw the former drummer, Angus MacLise, be replaced by Maureen Tucker.
