2023 World Gay Boxing Championship

The first World Gay Boxing Championships will be held in Australia in 2023.

Boxing Australia has endorsed this tournament which will coincide with the staple LGBTQI celebrations Mardi Gras and World Pride.

The World Gay Boxing Championships is planning to hold an exhibition version in 2022 to create momentum for the official event in 2023.

The founder of the Championships, Martin Stark, joins Breakfast to talk us through his motivation to create this tournament and the details of its organisation.
