Review of the recent budget found that female dominated work areas such as the care sector were largely overlooked with no immediate assistance for women seeking work now.
Janine Dixon, an economist at the Centre of Policy Studies at Victoria University joined Breakfast’s Tom and Zoe to discuss how the budget would benefit women and the economy if it invested more in childcare and aged care services.
