COVID-19 has changed the way Australians see people interact and politicians are no exception.

State and federal members seem to have put age-old political rivalries on hold so they can focus on getting the country through the pandemic.

But how has this recent shift affected the public perception of politicians compared to that of only a few short years ago?

Professor of History at the Australian National University, Frank Bongiorno joins Breakfast‘s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to talk about the new political climate and how it has impacted the way people view politicians.
