New Zealand faces regulation on vaping ahead of 2020 elections

With only two months until the 2020 New Zealand Federal Elections, the Labor Party has launched its re-election campaign, promising to boost the job economy in the fallout of the coronavirus pandemic.

The party has promised the scheme will be backed by hundreds of millions of dollars and will help unemployed New Zealanders find work.

Also this week, new laws surrounding vaping products and heated tobacco devices has passed in federal parliament.

New Zealand correspondent Oscar Perress from Auckland’s 95bFM joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to talk about the new initiative and other recent developments across the country.
