Posted on: Sun 19 Jul 2020

World-renowned physicist, and  best-selling author, Professor Paul Davies, takes us from  dark energy to the Higgs boson, from cancer folklore to synthetic biology, arguing that some ideas languish in obscurity until, decades later, they burst into relevance and provide answers that transform human existence.

Policy adviser Andrew Wear talks about his book Solved in which he examines what has worked around the world and how the lessons can be applied at home to problems long thought to be insoluble.
