On this day in history;

In 1784, the colour orange was banned from being worn in The Netherlands. This was related to the exile of William Nassau, who led the Eighty Years’ War for Dutch Independence against the Spanish.

In 1960, Alfred Hitchcock released the seminal and controversial film Psycho starring Janet Leigh and Anthony Perkins. It was one of the first American films to be made following the dissolution of the Production Code, allowing an unmarried couple to be shown sharing a bed.

In 1967, Pink Floyd released their second single ‘See Emily Play’.

Producer Leon Bishop joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to elaborate on these events from history.
