On This Day;

In 1919, Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks, D.W. Griffith and other heavyweights in the motion-picture industry joined forces to create their own film studio.

The United Artists Corporation would see a number of changes to leadership and brand, however they consistently released award-winning, time-honoured cinematic classics.
