Rescuing koalas in Kangaroo Island

Chlamydia is the most harmful disease on koalas and the populations in Kangaroo Island are particularly valuable as they are free from this bacterial infection.

Dr Natasha Speight, Associate Lecturer at the University of Adelaide, joins Breakfast to discuss the paramount mission of rescuing the remaining koala populations in Kangaroo Island—and across Australia—after the bushfire crisis.
