Helping the vulnerable during heatwaves

As people around South Australia turn up their air conditioners and stay indoors to escape the heatwave, many service organisations are extending their open hours to support those who are sleeping rough and exposed to the extreme temperatures, across the Adelaide CBD and regions.
Stefano Tocci, Manager of Inner City Services and the Westcare Centre at Baptist Care SA says his organisation is well equipped to provide the additional services, but that community members are welcome to donate money and goods to support those who need help.
