Quote: David Lloyd Royal Australian Navy Veteran – “Many of us would not be here today if it hadn’t been for the (Aussie) men and boys of the US Army Small Ships. … their unit reflected the peril that Australia was in. What country would send 70year old men, men who were disabled, unfit for service, and young boys into action against a vicious enemy who had slaughtered hundreds of thousands, millions in China, and here were these old men and young boys putting their hands up and going off to fight. Incredible!”
