Murray-Darling Basin under environmental threat

The Murray-Darling Basin is Australia’s largest river, but the over-extraction of water for human purposes is affecting its environmental state.

John Quiggin, Professor of Economics at the University of Queensland, joins Zoe Kounadis and Tom Mann to talk about the environmental and political issues surrounding the protection of the river.
