Sarah Brown tells APY dialysis story

Posted on: Fri 31 May 2019

In this week’s program, we talk with Sarah Brown from Western Desert Nganampa Walytja Palyantjaku Tjutaku Aboriginal Corporation, the Purple House. We ask Sarah to tell us the full story of how we’ve finally arrived at having a dialysis centre being built on the APY Lands, in Ernabella Pukatja. We chat with Sarah about how things are going with the building and the plans for the opening of the new facility.

Sarah talks about the new Medicare Benefit item for remote dialysis and we find out about the great new APY Art Centre Collective’s gallery in Adelaide and the Purple House’s involvement in this exciting project.
