Do Australian airlines discriminate against disabled passengers?

Posted on: Fri 9 Nov 2018

Ever boarded a flight and were told that you couldn’t put your wheelchair into the overhead locker in the cabin, because it was too heavy or wouldn’t fit?

Have you gone through an airport security checkpoint and got singled out for an undignified ‘pat down’ or ‘frisk’?

James Bennett from All Access Holidays speaks to De-Stigmatised‘s Jarad and Aiden about some of the dilemmas disabled holidaymakers encounter daily with airport staff, security personnel and airline stewards. He also raises the issue of airline companies refusing to answer or respond to complaints of poor customer service and blatant discrimination.
