Building Better Schools

Posted on: Fri 19 Oct 2018

In this week’s Anangu Lands Paper Tracker radio show, we find out about the ‘Building Better Schools’ project that is being led by the Department for Education.

The government is investing $692 million dollars in the ‘Building Better Schools’ project to improve buildings and facilities at 91 public schools across South Australia.

To find out more about this project and about the planning for the Fregon Anangu School on the APY Lands, we talk with Ross Treadwell, who is the Executive Director of Infrastructure in the Department for Education.

We ask Ross about the plans for Fregon School and the different new buildings, outdoor facilities and landscaping that will be included in the upgrade.

This program was made possible with support from the Community Broadcasting Foundation. Find out more at cbf.org.au
