David Pearson – Adelaide Zero Project

Posted on: Thu 9 Aug 2018

There is an estimated 105, 240 homeless people in Australia. Project Zero aims to create cities where the number of homeless people is not greater than the amount of shelter on offer. In the US it has lead to ten cities achieving their target.

The Adelaide Zero Project is lead by the Don Dunstan Foundation and aims to end homelessness in South Australia by 2020.

The foundation has released an online dashboard which will allow South Australians to see how many people are sleeping rough at any given time.

Executive Director David Pearson joined breakfast host Nick Ward now to talk about the project.
