It’s all happening in Bendigo at the end of October. Two conferences about cycling, separated by a weekend with an International Bike Film Festival and a 10k fun ride on the off road bike paths that go under the railway and busy roads. Bendigo is Australia’s first accredited Bicycle Friendly Community and it’s easy to see why. Nicky Page spoke with Rob Kretschmer, who is not only convenor of the Australian Walking and Cycling Conference but Treasurer of Bike Bendigo.
