Racism not disappearing, just talked about more

Posted on: Fri 11 May 2018

A week-long event examining racism will bring together respected guests from around Australia and the US, who will share their insights and knowledge in a series of panel discussions and workshops.

Tauto Sansbury is a Narungga Elder who was born at Point Pearce on the Yorke Peninsula, and has been advocating and working for Aboriginal people in areas of Aboriginal disadvantage for more than 30 years.

Tauto discusses the event, the satisfaction he gains from his work as an Aboriginal cultural consultant, and whether the way in which we identify and respond to racism has changed over the last 30 years.
