Don Dale Lessons: Punitive Culture Must Change

The Royal Commission on Protection and Detention of Children in the Northern Territory has made it abundantly clear that it is time for a new approach in dealing with kids who require support, not incarceration.

Pressure is mounting on the NT and federal governments to ensure that recommendations are fully implemented, but that is not all that needs to change.

Associate Law Professor Thalia Anthony from the University of Technology Sydney speaks on what has and still needs to be done.
