Uphill Battle for New Zealand’s Green Party

The New Zealand Green party have faced a lot of controversy leading up to the general election in September. Just a week after their co-leader announcement she would retire from parliament, after a benefit fraud, now the most recent polls has shown a drop 11 points. Meanwhile, Labour has been embracing their leader Jacinta Ardern calling her the next Helen Clark.

Moveover, lawyers acting for Afghan people who were targeted in Operation Burnham in 2010 are now taking the New Zealand Government to court for refusing to hold an independent enquiry into the matter.
