A Marriage Made In Parliament

Posted on: Tue 8 Aug 2017

Last night, the federal Liberal Party held an emergency meeting in regards to gay marriage. This comes after a small group of Liberal senators pushed to allow a conscience vote on the issue, with only seven party members supporting the move.

What can we make of this party room vote, and are the federal Liberals in a state of disarray?

To discuss this and the last week in politics, Haydon Manning, an Associate Professor of Politics and Party Policy from Flinders University, joined Tom Mann on Breakfast.
