By next summer, South Australia will become home to the world’s largest lithium ion battery – thanks to Tesla boss, Elon Musk.
This 100-megawatt battery has been heralded by many as a step in the right direction and a potential solution to the state’s recent power troubles.
Senior Lecturer in Renewable Energy at Monash University, Dr Roger Dargaville joined Jennie Lenman to discuss this technology and the influence it could have upon South Australia’s power grid.
