Le Cornu’s vacant block to remain vacant

Posted on: Wed 5 Jul 2017

Earlier in the week it was announced that the development plans for the empty Le Cornu site in North Adelaide will be trashed, leaving the land vacant as it has been for the past 15 years.

“I think the time has come to stop mucking around… if it require a state to require a state to pass it on to ensure it was developed. That would be a very good thing for a state that has as we have: low economic activity and high unemployment,” says North Ward councillor Phillip Martin.

He spoke to Jennie Lenman about how we can move forward.
