The World’s ‘Lost’ Forests

“We probably hadn’t lost the forests, we didn’t really know we had them in the first place.”
That’s what Professor Andrew Lowe from the University of Adelaide and head of an international research team had to say about his discovery of 467 million hectares of unreported forests around the world.
Professor Lowe chatted with Breakfast‘s Jennie Lenman to discuss how this discovery was made and what it could mean.
