Puddle Jumpers Inc. facing an uncertain future

Posted on: Tue 16 May 2017

Puddle Jumpers is a local not-for-profit organisation which responds to the social development needs of vulnerable children and young people, living in South Australia.

The main office at Maple Avenue in Forestville was sublet to Puddle Jumpers in 2013 by Fantastic Holdings, who leased it from Le Cornu.

The organisation faces an uncertain future after a Supreme Court Judge last week found this sublease to be invalid because it’s with a different subsidiary of Fantastic Holdings. Their lease expires in November of this year.

Puddle Jumpers founder and CEO, Melanie Tate, joined Small Change’s Lisa Burns for a chat about the work of the organisation, the communities it serves and its uncertain future.
