Brotherhood of St Laurence launches #NotDoleBludger
Posted on: Tue 9 May 2017

National welfare group Brotherhood of St Laurence has launched its Job Hunter, Not Dole Bludger campaign, which aims to challenge the stereotypes surrounding young unemployed people.
The campaign comes as new figures show the unemployment rate for young people aged 15-24 for March sitting at 13.1 per cent.
Small Change’s Lisa Burns joined Principle Advisor for Public Affairs and Policy at the Brotherhood of St Laurence, Farah Farouque, for a chat about the campaign, the latest statistics for youth unemployment around Australia, and her hopes for the campaign’s future.
