Fiona tells us about her father, Captain Robert Paton, who was captured by the Japanese during their advance on Singapore in 1942.

We think we know what it’s like to be hungry. But to experience starvation hunger is something else. Something that no-one should have to endure. But Robert did. Fiona reads from Robert’s diary.
