Ecological Restoration Dependent on Soil Microbes

Food security is dependent on the soil its grown in, and much of the farmlands around the world have been degraded. However, exciting new techniques for monitoring soil bacteria are being developed to aid in restoration projects. Barometer’s Sue Reece spoke with Professor Andrew Lowe from the Environment Institute of the University of Adelaide.
