WGCDR Stuart Scott: RAAF taking a stand against violence towards women

Posted on: Mon 17 Oct 2016

On average, at least one woman a week is killed by a partner or former partner in Australia.

On average, police across Australia respond to 657 domestic violence matters every day, that’s 239,846 a year

A woman is most likely to be killed by her male partner in her home

One in three Australian women has experienced physical violence, since the age of 15.

Horrendous statistics!   White Ribbon Day and the ongoing associated activities have a deep meaning for The Royal Australian Air Force, who are serious about becoming White Ribbon accredited.  WGCDR Stuart Scott tells us just how serious they are, and how they’re going about achieving their aims… and just as important…  why!
