Next Phase for Nuclear debate

Posted on: Mon 29 Aug 2016

The debate into South Australia’s potential to expand its nuclear activities continues since the report from the Nuclear Fuel Cycle Royal Commission was delivered in May, this year.

The report found that an increase of nuclear activities in South Australia, in particular using land as a nuclear waste dump would be financially beneficial for the state and safe.

The next phase is further community consultations. Jon Bok, a government consultant who is busy delivering information to communities across South Australia, including to Aboriginal communities, chats to Kaliah to Aboriginal Message.
