There are lots of off-air roles in which volunteers can help Radio Adelaide to be more productive and making consistently great content on-air and online.

A number of these roles will now be critical as the station’s staff is reduced to just two.

If you can contribute in any of the following roles, please submit the form below by Friday 15 September.

There will be multiple places in each role. We do ask that you nominate only if you think you can commit each week to the role. The number of hours required each week will vary from role to role and will depend to some degree on interest and availability.

Some roles will shortly be advertised externally to attract new volunteers also.

Admin Assistants

  • Rostered reception shifts
  • Various admin support to staff

Audio Producers

  • Production of station promos, IDs
  • Production of sponsor messages
  • Assistance with program production

Community Engagement Coordinators

  • Event coordination
  • Supporter liaison and communications
  • Coordinating engagement surveys and campaigns


  • Scripting station and program promos
  • Scripting sponsor messages
  • Drafting website content

DAD Support

  • Rostered on-call support
  • Crowdsourced support via instant messaging

Daily Interview Producers

  • Sourcing interviews
  • Distributing interviews

Digital Producers

  • Coordinating social media accounts
  • Creating digital content
  • Coordinating digital campaigns

Feature Album Coordinator

  • Selecting and scheduling feature albums
  • Liaison with program producers
  • Producing artist comments

Fundraising Coordinators

  • Event coordination
  • Donor liaison and communications

Graphic Designers

  • Digital graphics for online promotion
  • Poster design
  • Program logo design
  • Merch design

Interview Coordinator

  • Handling PR requests
  • Liaising with program producers and interview guests
  • Scheduling interviews

Marketing Assistant

  • Assistance with audience research
  • Coordination of audience surveys
  • Coordination of promotional activities

Music Library Coordinators

  • Processing new music
  • Liaising with program producers
  • Liaising with record labels

IT Support

  • Rostered on-call support
  • Crowdsourced support via instant messaging
  • Assistance with installs, updates

Tech Support

  • Rostered on-call support
  • Crowdsourced support via instant messaging

Website Coordinators

  • Edit and publish content in accordance with style guide
  • Coordinate advertisements
