Temporary Migrants Left Out of COVID-19 Support

For those on temporary visas during the early closures of business due to COVID-19, the losses suffered have been insurmountable. With no access to JobKeeper and JobSeeker, many temporary migrants have been left financially ruined by the lack of support.
Dr Laurie Berg is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law at the University of Technology in Sydney who specialises in temporary labour migration and access to justice in Australia. Dr Berg broke down how this issue has seriously effected this demographic.
