On this day in history;

In 1935, Sir Allen Lane published the first Penguin book with brothers Richard and John. Penguin aimed to sell and publish high quality literature at cheap prices to bridge the gap and spark the ‘Paperback Revolution’.

In 2017, a hacker released multiple spoiler-releasing scripts and confidential details from HBO regarding the seventh season of Game of Thrones.

In 1971, George Harrison and Ravi Shankar finalised preparation for the Concert for Bangladesh which would amass $12 million in revenue for the benefit of East Pakistani refugees fleeing Bangladesh following the Liberation War-related genocide.
