Posted on: Fri 17 Jul 2020

Georgia Horgan is no ordinary performer in a wheelchair. She is a multi-talented singer-songwriter and busker, who has become a regular attraction in Rundle Mall in entertaining thousands of tourists and passerbys with her uniquely distinct singing voice.

Horgan made her debut at this year’s Adelaide Fringe Festival with The Georgia Horgan Show, which invited those to join her in joyous, jubilant celebration of disability, life and love – transpired through pivotal moments told from Horgan’s interpersonal experiences with family and friends.

De-Stigmatised‘s Jarad spoke with Horgan in the studio where she revealed how she got into street busking and what drove her to perform, compose and record her own music.
