On this day in history;

In 1947, Sheriff Wilcox of the Roswell Police Department in New Mexico, United States, reported to the RAAF that a mysterious ‘flying saucer’ had crashed-landed on a local ranch 3 weeks previous.

In 1988, Stevie Wonder announced he would run for mayor of Detroit in the 1992 election. He did not, but remains a prolific donor and community member of his home city.

In 2018, four boys were rescued from an underwater cave, with one of the diving rescue team members, Richard Harris, being from Adelaide!
