Screens Review: The Great

Posted on: Fri 22 May 2020

The Great: an Occasionally True Story is an American comedy miniseries loosely based on the rise of Catherine the Great, Empress of Russia. Written by the oscar-nominated writer of The Favourite.

Screen reviewer Aimee Knight says of the show “What Veep is to the White House, so The Great is to Buckingham Palace”.

Aimee joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to discuss more.
