There has been call to rename International Women’s Day (8 March) to International Do-More-Work-For-Free Day so to highlight the scale of free work undertaken by women globally.

Research from Price Waterhouse Cooper in 2017 showed that women undertake 72% of all unpaid work in Australia at the staggering value of $650 billion.

Feminist insider Meghan King joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to elaborate on this and other news from the feminist sphere.

The YWCA will be hosting their Comedy Showcase next Monday the 9th at The Whitmore, presenting some of Australia’s leading, young, women comedians.
