April Herbert, Navy Veteran: HMAS Adelaide; HMAS Canberra

To look at petite April Herbert, Secretary of the Geraldton RSL in Western Australia, one could be forgiven for being astounded to hear that she was a Communications Operator aboard various Australian warships, serving for many years in the Middle East and other areas.
