Posted on: Fri 24 Jan 2020

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood is an American drama film directed by Marielle Heller.

The film is inspired by the 1998 article “Can You Say … Hero?” by Tom Junod, published in Esquire.

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood stars Tom Hanks, Matthew Rhys, Susan Kelechi Watson, and Chris Cooper. The story depicts Lloyd Vogel, a journalist for Esquire who is assigned to profile beloved television icon Fred Rogers.

Our screens reviewer, Aimee Knight, joins Breakfast to talk about the film and other new releases.
