Unley Goes Over the Rainbow with the 2020 Gourmet Street Gala

This year marks the 20th anniversary of The City of Unley’s annual Gourmet Street Gala.
For this special occasion, the fun-filled event will be held on the newly upgraded King William Road precinct. 40 pop-up stalls will be opened where attendees can enjoy fine local food, wine and gin. On Thursday the 23rd, the Tour Down Under Stage 3 will begin with cyclists leaving at 11am.
The event will be magically-themed to The Wizard of Oz, for families to enjoy a range of activities. For children there’ll be the Gala’s Kids’ Zone, with musical performances from local Becky Blake and world musicians Santo Shi and Sun of Africa.
Mayor of Unley Michael Hewitson joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to discuss this exciting event. Unley’s Gourmet Gala will be held on Wednesday January 22, from 5pm to 10.30pm.
