Meet Radio Adelaide Volunteer – Hayley

Posted on: Sat 11 Jan 2020

Why do I like volunteering at Radio Adelaide?

I’ve enjoyed volunteering here so far and learning new things/ new tasks sometimes and it’s a good experience to learn what they do. I’ve learned so much over three years almost four years. Being here at the radio station observing what to do and how to do it when it comes to tasks and new things.

The people at the radio station are lovely and friendly to talk to. If I ever get stuck on a task or new things I’ll ask one of the Radio Adelaide staff for some help if the supervisor is busy with meetings and other things. But mostly she is here to help me out.

My experience at Radio Adelaide has been great so far and I continue volunteering at Radio Adelaide. I’m so grateful for this opportunity through my fabulous Aunty who told me about Radio Adelaide and that’s how I got to this stage volunteering here at Radio Adelaide

When I first started I was 18 years old and I was shy and not confident and awkward walking into the station and meeting the supervisor for the first time. But that as changed.
